The Hokkaido Training Sale of 2-year-olds will be held on May 23, a delightful time of year to be visiting Hokkaido. Promising young 2-year-olds that have undergone rigorous training will be offered at the sales ring in Sapporo Racecourse.
A brief look at the horses that will be on offer reveal progeny by notable sires such as Dubai World Cup winner VICTOIRE PISA and his sire NEO UNIVERSE, Dubai Duty Free winner ADMIRE MOON, Queen Elizabeth II Cup winner RULERSHIP, two-time Hong Kong Sprint winning champion sprinter LORD KANALOA as well as his sire KING KAMEHAMEHA, SCREEN HERO who sired three-time Hong Kong G1 winner MARUICE (HK Cup, HK Mile, Champions Mile) as well as internationally successful and recognized stallions such as EMPIRE MAKER and HENNY HUGHES

〈Information Available Pre-Sale〉
1. On-line English Sales Catalogues
English catalogue information on the horses in the sale can be accessed on your computer or mobile device at the following URL:

a) You can view the catalogue page for each horse by clicking on the horse's Hip Number.
b) You can sort the information by the horses' sire, dam and broodmare sire.
c) Additional information on the sires can be viewed by clicking on the sire's name.
2. Printed English Sales Catalogues
The printed catalogue will be sent out in early May to anyone requesting a copy.
3. On-line work-out videos
Live breeze-ups will be conducted on the day before the sale (May 22), but videos of the horses' work-outs recorded in
mid-April will be available on-line from around the end of April at the following URL:

4. Video of work-outs (DVD)
Videos of the horses' work outs (from mid-April) will be sent out in early May to anyone requesting a copy.
5. On-line Repository
X-rays of the limbs and upper airway endoscope videos that have been submitted will be available for viewing on-line
from 15:00 on May 18 (Thu) at the following URL:

6. Anabolic Steroid Testing
Any horse from which anabolic steroids are detected in pre-sale testing will be excluded from the Sale.

7. Breeze-ups
Breeze-ups will be conducted at Sapporo Racecourse from 10:00 on May 22 (Mon).
8. Repository
X-rays of the limbs and videos of the upper airway of sale horses will be available for examination at two designated areas in the sales complex.
9. Inspection of Horses
Horses will be available for individual inspection in the stable area of the Racecourse.
10. Preferred Minimum Sale Price
The seller's preferred minimum sale price will be made available for each horse in the Sale.
11. Horse Measurements
Measurements of each horse including the height, heart girth, cannon circumference and weight will be made available.
