The Hokkaido Selection Sale has a reputation for offering many high quality yearlings that have been carefully selected based on pedigree and conformation.
The well-equipped Hokkaido Sales Complex provides an ideal venue for efficiently inspecting horses and vetting the repository material. In particular, the "group exhibition" of sale horses, where the horses are shown in groups by lot number on the beautiful grass, is a practice unique to Japan and has been well-received by buyers as a convenient and practical way to inspect horses.
