VICTOIRE PISA (JPN) wins Dubai World Cup

-Japanese Horses finish 1st & 2nd in world's Richest Race-

Japanese-bred VICTOIRE PISA (JPN) (4 year-old colt by Neo Universe (JPN), carrying 57.0kg) won the world's richest race against top international horses from England, Ireland, United States, South Africa and Dubai when he triumphed in the Dubai World Cup (Winner's Purse US$6,000,000, All weather track, 2000m) at Meydan Racecourse on March 26th. Another Japanese-bred, Transcend (JPN) came in second, demonstrating that Japanese-bred horses are more than capable of performing at the world's highest level.

15 Japanese horses have won 18 G1 races around the world to date. This is the 4th time Japanese horses came in both 1st and 2nd.
