Japanese-bred 4-year-old mare Jolie's Shinju (Jolie's Halo(USA) - Endearing Quality(USA)) scored a brilliant win in the Patron's Bowl (Sin-G1) over 1400m on the turf at Kranji Racecourse in Singapore on May 31, 2009. She has now won 7 of her 17 starts with earnings of S$789,052.50
This is the second G1 win by a Japanese-bred horse in Singapore racing, after the win by El Dorado(JPN) (Stay Gold(JPN) - White Leap(JPN)) in the 2008 Singapore Gold Cup (Sin-G1).
Jolie's Shinju(JPN) was purchased by owner Dr. K.C. Tan at the 2006 Hokkaido Autumn Sale for 3,150,000yen.
