Aldebaran (bay 1998, Mr. Prospector - Chimes of Freedom, by Private Account), the Eclipse Award champion sprinter in 2003,will be joining the JBBA stallion roster from 2009. Aldebaran racedconsistently from 2 to 5, winning 5 graded stakes including the Metropolitan H. (G1), Forego H. (G1) and San Carlos H. (G1).
One of the last champions by Mr. Prospector, Aldebaran comes from a family that has produced top sires such as El Gran Senor,Spinning World and Xaar, as well as such outstanding racehorses as Rags to Riches, Jazil, Malinowski, Peeping Fawn, Denon, Yagli and Good Journey.
As a stallion, Aldebaran has stood in the U.S.A. from 2004 and has already sired graded stakes winners in 2 countries,Danon Go Go (Falcon S.--Jpn 3) in Japan and Arcadia's Angle (Prix Paul de Moussac--G3) in France.
