The Hokkaido Summer Sale was held over a 5-day period at the Hokkaido Sales Complex in Shin-Hidaka Town from August 18 (Mon) to 22 (Fri)
A total of 1,124 yearlings (601 colts, 523 fillies) were offered at the Sale. Of these, 354 (228 colts, 126 colts) were sold for a clearance rate of 31.5%. The Sale grossed a total of 1,599, 675,000yen, with the average price at 4,518,000yen. 
The top-price yearling was a filly by That's the Plenty(JPN) out of Floral Magic(USA), purchased for 21,210,000yen by Dearest Club Co.,Ltd. The top-priced colt of the Sale was a colt by Bago (FR) out of Horino Sereta (JPN), purchased by Big Red Farm Co., Ltd for 15,960,000yen. The stallion Bago has stood at the JBBA Shizunai Stallion Station from 2006, and this is his first crop of yearlings.
